ZONA envisions a world where creativity becomes a force for transformation — a bridge between people, ideas, and possibilities.
We empower young people and artists through education, collaboration, and participatory art, nurturing spaces where imagination leads to change.
Rooted in the belief that creativity is essential to a thriving society, we cultivate projects, residencies, and encounters that explore identity, sustainability, and collective resilience.
Our mission is to connect, support, and amplify the creative community of Cluj-Napoca and Romania through a shared cultural platform.
We create contexts for dialogue, collaboration, and visibility across disciplines and generations, responding to a growing need for connection, exchange, and mutual support within the independent cultural scene.
We strive for the sustainable growth of this ecosystem by fostering a culture of care, balance, transparency, and continuous learning – where artistic freedom and long-term sustainability can coexist.

Organized and strong, Ruxi is ZONA’s brain. She shapes the general direction of our projects, uniting everyone’s ideas into one common, large scale perspective.
Ruxi’s passions spread over all areas of art. She studied film and literature, has been part of various theater groups, she plays the piano and ukulele, and occupies her time with yoga, meditation and exploring nature.

Bright and brave, Nora is ZONA’s heart. She always comes up with unique ideas and brings life to any place she walks into, Nora can convince you of anything she truly believes in.
Nora loves to play, whether we’re talking about music, dance or any other form of movement or improv. She is a travel-buff, always ready to explore the new. Her superpower is her intuition.

Determined and free, Cătă is our pair of clairvoyant eyes. He supports the team through all the good times and the bad, being constant and mindful of those around him.
Cata has a constant curiosity to experiment with new visual languages; whether it's painting, drawing, tattoos and graffiti, or set design. He is inspired by community and the idea of social sculpture. He loves chocolate and aimless wandering.
